We have offered workshops and expert referrals for health professionals and health-related organizations. Our aim is to help this audience better understand and serve the diverse African populations with whom they work.

In this capacity, scholars and students have facilitated language translation, consulted on research projects, and addressed social-cultural understandings and constraints that can influence health-seeking practices. We have offered workshops in both Champaign-Urbana and Chicago.
