Students interested in studying abroad in an African country are encouraged to explore the numerous programs available through Illinois Abroad & Global Exchange (IAGE). IAGE runs regular study abroad information sessions to help students identify programs that may serve their needs and interests, and assist them in making the necessary arrangements for studying abroad.
The University of Illinois Study Abroad Office has formal agreements with other institutions in the U.S. that run programs in Africa. The University of Minnesota programs in Ghana, Senegal, and Kenya is an example of such partnerships.
