Kabye Male Initiation Names as Indicators of Cultural Perceptions of Gender Differences

At the end of their first initiation rite called the initiation of the evala, young Kabye males bestow on themselves and/ or on their peer's personal names that express their individual moral views of, and attitudes toward, their society’s norms.
